Puppy Application Process

It is our number one goal to find the perfect furever family for every one of our puppies. We highly encourage families NOT to choose their puppy based on gender or appearance (coat/color) and to choose based on which puppy is a great match for them personality-wise. This process gives our puppies a voice in their placement and ensures that families get what they are looking for in a puppy, as well!

We complete genetic testing through Embark to avoid genetic defects and to ensure the best breeding possible. Our puppy parents are our cherished family members first and foremost and their health and happiness is always our first consideration.

We have a very small program and our puppies are raised in our home, not in a kennel. Our puppies receive early neurological stimulation and early scent introduction during days 3-16 and engage in enrichment activities throughout their first 10 weeks before being placed with their furever families.

Our puppies come to you dewormed, up-to-date on vaccines, and with a health check by our vet. In addition, they will be litterbox trained for easier housebreaking and started on their crate training before going to their new home.

PLEASE do your research on this breed if you have never owned a dachshund. They are the most loving, but they can also be very stubborn. KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GETTING INTO.

Pricing: In order to reserve your puppy, a non-refundable deposit of $350 is required. This will be applied to your puppy's purchase price and the balance will be due upon pick-up.

Puppy Pack: We send each puppy home with the following:

- Health check and health/vaccination records from our vet.

- Blanket with scent of mom and littermates.

- Microchipped and registration info.

- Starter bag of doggy food.

Contract: You will be required to sign a purchase contract before taking your puppy home.

Are you willing to sign a contract at time of pickup? All of our puppies are PET ONLY and are NOT released for breeding. They must be spayed after their first heat cycle or neutered by 12 months of age. Proof of spay/neuter must be sent to us upon completion.
